It's funny for me waking up and reading this. My Nanny passed away last night and I've spent most of the morning crying and making phonecalls.

The thing that is the saddest to me about it all is that unlike your Gram, she did not live her life to the fullest and though she lived it the way SHE wanted, I know she missed out on some great years because of the way she took care of herself.

I miss her so much already and only hope that wherever she's at, she's at peace.

Thanks for this post. I love it and it is most certainly a way to live great life.

Happy birthday to your Gram!!

Great post. Sometimes, I think I get too obsessed with the amount of exercise I do or the number on the scale, but I then I miss some of those great "life" moments. I wish your grandmother a very happy birthday!
