Kinda new to the Primal thing myself although, I was doing South Beach before switching to Primal.

Not sure if this appeals to anyone else, but my husband and I love to make this as a default meal. Basically, it is our version of spaghetti sauce with veggies instead of pasta. Comfort food without the carbs.

Organic ground beef, browned with onions and garlic, zucchini, mushrooms, eggplant diced and added with a can of diced tomatoes and a can of sauce. Add herbs and seasoning as needed, we usually go for italian season, a little hot pepper flakes, basil. Simmer until the veggies are tender, and top with parmesean or feta! Yum!

Congrats on making a change for yourself. It's always that psychological hump for any change, right? For what it's worth, when I made the change I never experienced any of the symptoms, so maybe you are out of the woods? Who knows. :)
As for a food rut, I'm sort of worried about that too, but I think just keep doing what you were doing before to get inspired about food. I added a whole bunch of primal/paleo sites to my reader and mostly it's not too hard to make recipes (if you were a recipe cooker before) primal -- just focus on the real foods -- and google any substitutions. There is so much info out on the web, you will never get bored! :) Best of luck to you.

Well you know mine from my last post and since you're a frequenter at my Primal Matriarch site, you'll see I post recipes and meal ideas often!

Last night I had pulled BBQ chicken slow cooked in the crockpot served on a grain-free onion roll toasted with melted provolone and topped with cold broccoli slaw. WAS SO GOOD.

I also just posted a pizza crust recipe and you can pile that bad boy up with anything!!

Also, Honeyville Grains has the best deal for almond flour. It's 36.99 for a 5-lb bag on Amazon, free shipping if you're a prime member.

Maranatha is my fav almond butter, too.
