I am no help when it comes to pregnancy workouts -- just stopping by to say I'm sorry about the fall. That sounds painful! I fell down some wooden stairs at my parents' house once and my backside was black and blue for ages. I hope you're feeling better soon!

I stopped running at about 5 and a half months when I really started to feel pain in my hips and back. I've been walking, and there are three dvds I really like that feel like an actual workout, not just a series of breathing exercises and Kegels. The two "Perfect Pregnancy Workout" volumes (one is strength training, one is yoga, taught by former Cirque du Soleil acrobats who are hugely pregnant, which is both comforting and humbling) and the Summer Sanders' Prenatal Workout dvd.

I started swimming/doing water aerobics about 6 months in. I loved the weightless feeling of being in the water. I also did yoga all the way though, and felt like it really helped me, especially at the end. I live in PDX too and found the indoor pools at the community centers (I went to Dishman) to have lots of good water options. I didn't love the pregnancy specific water aerobics, but enjoyed lap swimming (in the slow lane) and the deep water aerobic (more of a "real" workout feel). Glad you and the babe are okay!
